Zhangzhou Intermediate People's Court

Zhangzhou Intermediate People's Court was established on January 5, 1953. Its predecessors were the Longxi Branch of Fujian Provincial People's Court and the Longxi Intermediate People's Court. It has a jurisdictional area of 12,600 square kilometers with a permanent population of 4.81 million. The court is located at 89 Shuixian Avenue, Longwen District, Zhangzhou City. The Zhangzhou Intermediate People's Court oversees 11 county (city, district) people's courts, including 23 people's tribunals. It is responsible for first-instance, second-instance, and retrial criminal, civil, and administrative cases, as well as various enforcement cases within its jurisdiction. There are currently more than 1,100 judicial officers in the city's courts, including 200 officers at the intermediate court.
