The Xiangcheng Branch of Zhangzhou City Hospital, originally named Zhangzhou Municipal Hospital, is a comprehensive "second-level Class A" hospital. It is designated for medical insurance, new rural cooperative medical care, and civil servant physical examinations in Zhangzhou City.

Zhangzhou No. 8 Middle School was founded in 1990. In April 2012, it was confirmed as a second-level standardized school by the Fujian Provincial Department of Education. In May 2020, it was approved by the Municipal Education Bureau to add the name “Zhangzhou No. 1 Foreign Language School”.
